Christian Füchsl is an impact investor specialising in nature-based projects. He currently advises Futuro Forestal, Panama's sustainable forestry pioneer since 1994, and The Generation Forest on the financial side of restoring degraded land into permanent, biodiverse mixed forests. These forests are owned across generations and generate income from both timber and carbon.

Before moving into impact investing, Christian spent nearly three decades in investment banking. He traded equity derivatives at UBS Investment Bank in Frankfurt and London, most recently as Executive Director. From 2004 to 2020 he worked for BayernLB in Munich, where his roles included Head of Structuring across all asset classes.

Christian holds a degree in business administration from the University of Regensburg. He later studied social and cultural anthropology at LMU Munich, where he is now completing his master's degree.
